Crown Melbourne will request official proof of vaccination or medical contraindication certificate from each of these visitors upon arrival to the complex. Entry may be denied if official proof of vaccination or a medical contraindication certificate cannot be presented.

Welcome Reception

Join us for the ASCD welcome drinks where we will welcome delegates from around the country whilst enjoying Australian wines and delicious food.

This event is included in full symposium registrations. Tickets for guests or those with day passes can be purchased for $95 per ticket.

Gala Dinner

Venue - CENTREPIECE Melbourne 

Date: Saturday 26 February 2022 Time: 7.00 – 11.00pm Dress: Formal

The Gala Dinner will be the social highlight of the ASCD Symposium, and will be held at one of Melbourne's most beautiful venues. It’s a perfect opportunity to unwind after a day of information gathering. Enjoy great Melbourne food, network with your peers and be entertained!

Gala Dinner Tickets will be an additional cost of $150. Additional tickets for guests can be purchased for $200 per ticket.

Full Conference registration fee for ASCD / ASAPS / CPCA / NZSCM Members, Non-Member Doctors, Registrars, and Practice Staff includes includes lectures,  official meeting documents, morning/afternoon tea, lunch and coffee breaks and admission to the Welcome Reception. Accommodation, Gala Dinner Tickets, meals for partners and additional tickets for the social functions are not included in the registration fee. Gala Dinner tickets and additional tickets can be purchased for the social functions through the registration portal. Day registrations do not include tickets to social functions.
Registration cancellations received up to Friday 28 January 2022 will receive a full refund, less a $AUD300.00 administration fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after Friday 28 January 2022 – this includes cancellation of any paid workshops/events such as the Gala Dinner.
As an alternative to cancellation, registrations may be transferred to another person (for the same registration category) before Wednesday 26 January 2022 without receiving any extra cost penalty.
*Credit card surcharges associated with your registration will not be refunded in the case of cancellation.
In the instance that the ASCD 2021 physical event cannot proceed or a registered delegate can not attend due to the ongoing COVID19 situation (i.e. border closures or compulsory isolation), all registrations will be transferred to virtual tickets. No administration fee will apply in such a case, and you will be refunded the difference in registration fees. You will be allocated the equivalent virtual registration based on the date you registered. I.e. If you registered to attend in-person at the early bird rate, you will be allocated an early bird virtual registration.  
The members of the ASCD Council and The Production House Events do not accept any liability for any losses incurred pre, post or during the Symposium due to unforeseen cancellation or postponement. In the event of the Symposium being cancelled, no refunds will be issued. All available funds will be credited towards a future symposium/s held by the ASCD. Registration fee does not include accommodation, Gala Dinner tickets, meals for partners and extra tickets for the Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner. Please note there is no entry to the industry exhibition hall without registration to the conference. CPD POINTS

(ASCD) Dermatologists CPD points will apply for this Symposium for Dermatologists

(RACGP) General Practitioners (GP’s) General Practitioners attending the ASCD Symposium will be responsible for self reporting directly to RACGP for CPD points to be allocated.

(ACNP) Nurses & Nurse Practitioners For every hour of active learning, relevant to your current practice, you can log 1 hour of CPD as per the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery board. It is incumbent upon the attendee to record details of the courses they attend and provide evidence of relevance and participation. A certificate of attendance will be provide at the conclusion of the symposium. Nurse practitioners require the standard 20 hours, plus 10 hours relating to their advanced practice, e.g. prescribing. Nurse Practitioners attending and actively participating in the full ASCD Symposium could achieve up to 20 hours towards their annual CPD requirement.

(ASDC) Dermal Therapists The ASCD Symposium is recognised as a CPD opportunity for all ASDC members and they are highly encouraged to attend to demonstrate their industry engagement and professional development. Currently there is not a specific allocated number of CPD points for different level events. Members are required to attend at least 3 industry or ASDC events over the course of a year.

FAQs

Yes all sessions will be recorded, however, some presentations will not be available post-event due to patient privacy. The vast majority will be made available post-event to all attendees.

We hope that you can join us in-person, however, should you have to isolate as a close-contact or a positive case of COVID-19, your registration will revert to a virtual registration so that you can join from the comfort of where you are isolating.

The safety of our in-person attendees is paramount. As such we are implementing the following measures to make the event as safe as possible:

  • Increased cleaning in high traffic areas
  • N95 masks will be available for attendees
