2018 ASCD SYMPOSIUM IS NOW SOLD OUT
Registrations are now closed. Maximum capacity reached.
The Australasian Society of Cosmetic Dermatologists (ASCD) is delighted to invite you to the ASCD Symposium, at the Crown Conference Centre Melbourne from 21 – 23 September 2018.
This year we have 11 overseas speakers and we have Australian thought leaders giving a glimpse of the future of our profession and society in plenary sessions. We have a novel theme this year in keeping with our dermatology genesis. We are highlighting our skin structure – all layers of its structure from skin down to bone.
_
We will look at the Epidermis
“Epidermal Aesthetics” will investigate issues of colour, sun damage and texture.
Then the Dermis
The Dermis which is a busy place with many glands, fibres and cells with many issues. “Dermal Aesthetics” will particularly be looking this year at issues of sebaceous and sweat gland activity with an intense interest on scarring.
The Subcutaneous fat
“Subcutaneous Aesthetics” will be highlighted by an examination of volume through the facial shape in an unusual fashion and a signature feature (this year the brow) as well as issues of body shape.
The muscles of the face
“Muscular Aesthetics” will highlight the mimetic muscles of facial expression, their function and issues, as well as more structural muscles that may be an issue with beauty.
Deeper Tissues
“Deep tissue aesthetics” will deal with lifting technologies, their abilities and flaws.
_
As well as this cohesive look at our tissues we will bring a masterclass again with intensive small interactive sessions and the opportunity through the program for one on one instruction and learning about the perfect consultation, understanding yourself and your patient and how to give the perfect presentation.
As usual there will be the fun quizzes and competitions and lots of panels and audience discussion and courses in safety and skills for the novice through to the truly experts.
Who Should Attend?
All Healthcare Professionals, Nurses and Practice Staff who have a focus on Cosmetic Dermatology.
CPD points will apply for this Symposium for Dermatologists.
Registration is now open and spots are limited, don’t miss out!
